With pride and honour we welcome Jakhira to Stab Recordings. The imported Belgian lets his Celtic roots run wild with the heavenly "Lament". Blending tribal rhythms with a deep bassline, subtle stabs and dreamy Rhodes chords, our spirits are further elated upon the introduction of the traditional Gaelic vocal, which is over 200 years old. On remix duty we're pleased to welcome back Amyi after the successful "Aureola" and "Amoniac". Another imported Belgium resident, originally from Romania, his instrumental interpretation beefs up the bass and introduces soaring pads and subtle arpeggios. Discretely placed elements of the original combine majestically with punch-packing drum rolls, bringing both the track and the senses to a climax.
